This is a precast concrete toilet that can be used during disasters and is designed for underground installation.
The "ELBOX" is a disaster toilet made of box-shaped precast components, designed to withstand "automobile load T-25" and "level 2 seismic motion." By installing a toilet-shaped iron cover, it can be used as an emergency toilet in evacuation sites such as parks and schools. The toilet-shaped iron cover can accommodate both square and round shapes. Additionally, the use of a parent-child cover makes it easy to pump out and maintain. In cases where sewage treatment plants or pump stations are stopped, or where sewage pipelines are damaged due to liquefaction, it functions effectively as a storage-type toilet tank. Furthermore, by installing a separate gate on the discharge side in advance, it can also be designed as a combined storage/discharge type structure, allowing for discharge-type use if the damage to existing pipelines is minimal and there are no issues with flow functions. Since it consists of precast components, it allows for labor-saving and shortened construction periods. Additionally, the required specifications (internal width, internal height, length) can be adjusted according to the scale of disaster prevention parks, as the evacuation population may vary based on those conditions.
